The term "Reiki" is the combination of the Japanese and Chinese word-characters of "Rei" (pronounced ‘ray’) which translates as “universal” or “spiritual wisdom” and "Ki" (pronounced ‘key’) which translates as “vital energy” or “life force energy”.

 

The Universal Life Force is the energy that sustains all of life. This energy is everywhere and is a part of everything around us. It is us. Due to this incredibly simple and natural process it is also extremely powerful and effective at bringing healing and balance to our lives as we are already part of this dynamic system.

 

Its foundation is the concept that disease is caused by imbalances of vital energy or fluid in the body and that correcting the imbalance promotes healing.

A Japanese Buddhist named Dr. Mikao Usui developed the Reiki system of healing at the turn of the twentieth century. Having discovered information in Buddhist Sanskrit texts from Tibet, it is clear the Universal Life Force has been used for healing purposes since ancient times.

 

Kundalini Reiki offers stronger, higher frequency energy than traditional Reiki. Kundalini is a "corporeal energy" (an unconscious, instinctive or libidinal force or Shakti, envisioned either as a goddess or as a sleeping serpent coiled at the base of the spine), which is often called the 'serpent power'. Kundalini is considered a part of the subtle body along with chakras (energy centers) and nadis (energy channels). Kundalini energy is the basic life force that is within you and moves up along your spine.

 

Benefits of Reiki:

 

Our natural energy flow can become depleted or ‘blocked’ when we are stressed, exhausted or overworked. This often causes us to hold on to things that we no longer need or serve us. These ‘blockages’ can cause different types of manifestations within us. This can cause far ranging symptoms to activate such as feeling tired, run-down, feelings of being overwhelmed, body pain, not being able to think straight or clear headed, etc.

 

Reiki can be used to treat and support a large variety of symptoms and conditions, however, you do not need to be sick or in pain to benefit from Reiki. Reiki is also very affective at helping you to relax, being a preventative support of giving you a boost when you need it.

 

The combination of Reiki (Universal Life Force) and Kundalini (Basic Life Force within us) works to produce a powerful healing effect on our energy bodies including our physical body. It combines the benefits of Reiki and Kundalini energy allowing for intense healing and spiritual awakening within us. In effect you are receiving and activating energy BOTH from within you and from outside of you.

Additional Reiki treatments available:

 

Crystalline Reiki – All over the body we have small deposits of certain crystals. These are exit points for the traumas we have experienced through life. Every time we put off or postpone dealing with a trauma, a crystal forms.

A trauma can be anything from a broken arm, a sprain, sorrow, etc. If, for example, someone breaks their arm, a crystal forms to hold the memory of the pain and the feelings of that trauma.

IF there aren’t any unresolved problems or feelings behind this trauma, the crystals can be dissolved and healed. Almost every crystal around the body can be healed.

 

    A Crystalline Reiki treatment can only be given in person and consists of two healing sessions.

 

DNA Reiki – DNA Reiki strengthens the ability to heal DNA strands (our blue print), which could help heal and support negative inherited genetics and diseases.

Birth Trauma Reiki – The most severe trauma is usually the process of being born.

In order to allow the gentlest release from this trauma you should receive a specific type of energy from this healing.

Location Reiki – Just as there are karmic bands or ties between people, there are also bands and ties between places, and even the Earth. These bands can weigh us down and sometimes have an influence on our physical health.

Past Life Reiki – This is to heal the blockages from your earlier life or lives.

 

    This treatment can be performed in person or as a remote, long distance treatment. There are three sessions needed to complete a treatment.

 

Balance All Reiki - This treatment can be done only upon the completion of all the above treatments. It is simple and effective and can be done as often as necessary (but not more than once per day).
